About IGF 2024
The Internet Governance Forum in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH IGF) was held in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2023. It is part of the network of national and regional initiatives (NRIs) within the global Internet Governance Forum (IGF). It is organized in the multistakeholder spirit of the IGF, as a joint initiative of several organizations and institutions.
On November 28, 2024, a new BH IGF was held in Sarajevo (Hotel Swissotel) from 09:00 to 14:00. Participation was free of charge, with prior registration required.
The Organizing Committee for 2024 included BIRN BiH, Coalition for Freedom of Expression and Content Moderation in BiH, Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo, Center for the Education of Judges and Prosecutors in FBiH (CEST FBiH).
The event was supported by Hans Seidel Stiftung, Internet Society (ISOC), Internet Society Foundation, U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Internet Governance Forum Support Association (IGFSA).
